We are now in the position where we can disconnect the Raspberry Pi completely from our keyboard, mouse and display. We can connect the Raspberry Pi straight to the router and work using a network connection with the IP address of the Raspberry Pi or its hostname.
This assumes that you have enabled SSH on your Raspberry Pi on the Preferences -> Raspberry Pi Configuration display.
Window 10 and Mac computers both support SSH.
On a Windows 10, open up a CMD window and run ssh. It should display a list of options available for SSH.
To connect to the remote computer:
At the first time of logging in it may as about the finger print of the host, in which case enter ‘yes’ to continue.
Once logged in, you will be presented with a terminal prompt.
